In partnership with Opportunity North East and Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland we are delighted to have been able to support local adventure tourism providers with specialist training and support via the North East Economic Recovery and Skills (NEERSF) Fund.
As part of a wider £14.3 million fund addressing economic impacts resulting from Covid-19, the oil and gas downturn and the climate emergency, NEAT supported businesses to attend training and purchase specialist equipment with the goals of supporting young people into work, reskill and up-skill employees, and increase innovation and business growth in the adventure sector.
