Our Industry events are where the adventure tourism sector community comes together. They provide a setting to meet, learn, connect, collaborate, and grow.
The 2023 annual event took place at Maryculter House on February 9th. Over 70 individuals from across the sector gathered for information, industry news and inspiration. Presentations, delivered by Jennifer Craw from Opportunity North East and the NEAT team provided informative updates on the projects key successes and plans for the future. Networking opportunities and a closing inspirational talk from the Adventurer Greg Boswell finished rounded out the event in style.
‘’It was fantastic to come together and meet others working in the adventure cluster. There are so many exciting projects coming to fruition this year, the momentum and excitement is building.”

Join us as we bring together a range of adventure tourism stakeholders from Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to review the past year and look ahead to 2024 with a touch of international insight.
Earlier this year, the North East Adventure Tourism (NEAT) project was invited to Valposchiavo, Switzerland, to contribute to the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Europe Summit 2023.
Sustainability is at the heart of the NEAT project – working with industry experts we have conducted a baseline assessment to help inform our practices moving forward.
